Nerf is releasing a new line of blasters that offer a blissful marriage between firing foam objects and launching toy cars off a track.
The company’s upcoming Nitro stunt car blasters are designed to fire soft foam cars directly at a ramp from any direction, allowing for furniture to be preserved and stunts to be easily reset over and over again until perfection is achieved.
A basic $10 Nitro Throttleshot Blitz Assortment will feature an inverted blaster, a single Nitro foam car, and a pair of obstacles. Additional sets consist of a $30 Nerf Nitro Longshot Smash Set (including a long-jump ramp, two foam cars, and a small assortment of obstacles), the $30 Nerf Nitro Flashfury Chaos Set (including a long-jump ramp, six Nitro foam cars, and a pop-up target that can be easily reset), a $40 Nerf Nitro Duelfury Demolition Set (offering two spring-loaded blasters, two long-jump ramps, two rings of fire, and four foam cars), and finally the $50 Nerf Nitro Motofury Rapid Rally Set (pictured above), which boasts a motorized blaster, long-jump ramp, a high-jump ramp, various obstacles, and nine different Nitro foam cars.
The line is currently slated for release sometime this summer.
