It feels like real hoverboards should be a thing by now but alas, we’re not there yet. You can get close to Marty McFly action though; you just need to buy ZBoard’s Back to the Future hoverboard. Since it runs on electricity, you can glide down the street in a hover-like fashion. It senses weight, and all you have to do to navigate is lean forward to go and lean back to stop. More facts: it hits a top speed of 18MPH and each charge lasts 20 miles. You have to plug it in for 5-7 hours to fully recharge. This not-quite hoverboard can be yours for $1,500.
It’s definitely not cheap, but one of the best parts about ZBoard’s product is that all proceeds go to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Foundation. Get in on the IndieGoGo campaign before it ends in 23 days.
See it in action in the video after the break.
