The sophomore installment of the Power Up Box (Premium Edition) dropped the ball in our opinion. Did it come back strong with box #3? Find out after the break…
You can’t go wrong with a Guardians Of The Galaxy figure. This box had two. I’ll definitely enjoy the Rocket Dorbz figure and the Groot cord scaler. Speaking of Groot…
I didn’t even know Groot was getting a solo series. I’m guessing writing the dialogue was pretty easy. At any rate, I’m looking forward to checking it out.
Again, the shirts in Power Up Boxes are definitely a weak spot. Not that I have anything against Monopoly, but these aren’t the kinds of shirts that I would wear. That goes for all of the shirts featured in previous boxes. The shirts are also on the thin side, so I question their durability.
This one is interesting. I’ve never received a soda in a subscription box before. It’s even zombie-themed. Apparently, zombies like to wash down brains with vanilla cream soda and jelly beans.
The Premium Power Up Box for June was definitely an improvement over the May edition. A solid box that might have been stellar if it wasn’t for the shirts. Still, it’s a step back in the right direction.
