They say you learn through play when you’re a kid, and Cambridge University is taking that message to heart. They have been awarded $6 million in funding from the Lego Foundation to support a Research Centre on Play in Education, Development, and Learning.

The funding will also cover a Lego professorship, which sounds like the most awesome job ever. Details on the position aren’t out yet, but information on the research and the post are expected to be made public sometime after October. Start working on that resume now.
