Retro Cthulhu Figures Are Straight Out Of The ’80s [Video]

These Legends of Cthulhu action figures by indie toymaker Warpo harken back to the ’70s and ’80s with their classic design and are currently up for funding on kickstarter. They each measure 3.75″ tall and will come in very retro packaging designed by Ken Kelley. He aimed to evoke the feel of 1979 so he went with an orange color palette and gave the packages wear marks to make them look old.

As for the figures, Cthulhu is easily the most recognizable of the line, but each of the other three Lovecraftian figures feature the same attention to detail. There’s a Cultist with a vinyl cape, a Deep One with a spear, and a Professor with his trusty pistol. Each is a tribute to both H.P. Lovecraft and the action figures of the ’70’s and ’80’s.

The kickstarter has great pledge incentives like coloring books, t-shirts, and even Q&A sessions with the Warpo team.
