See What’s Inside The Simon Pegg-Approved Nerd Block Box For March 2015 [Review]

The folks at Nerd Block teamed up with the great Simon Pegg to choose the items that would be available in their latest round of subscription boxes. See what they came up with for the Classic box after the break…

Naturally, Pegg’s autobiography Nerd Do Well is in there. I love it when these subscription boxes have books in them, unfortunately they always choose things I’ve already read (if you love Simon Pegg’s brand of humor, you’ll love Nerd Do Well). Maybe I should just stop buying books and let these guys figure out what I should be reading.

I also love when the boxes have shirts, and you can’t go wrong with one that includes both Shaun of the Dead and beer.

Guardians Of The Galaxy was also well represented in this box with a set of exclusive nesting dolls and a Rocket Raccoon magnet.

I suppose I should customize this Munny as Shaun? Eh…I’ll need a mini cricket bat for that. Scotty is easier.

Finally, there was a little something in there for April Fools’ Day. I have to admit that I was amused by the Harley Quinn-themed whoopee cushion.

Overall, this was a pretty fun box. Nothing mind-blowing, but definitely fun. The box also revealed that a special vinyl Ghostbusters collectible from Titan Merchandise will be included in the next box, so we can’t wait to find out what it is.

If you would like to give a Nerd Block subscription a shot, head on over to the website and use the code “NERD2015” to get 10% off.

Keep in mind that Nerd Block subscribers have the advantage of being able to subscribe to several different themed boxes that include an Arcade Block, Horror Block and Classic Block. There are also Jr. Blocks for kids.
