While I’m sure Wes Anderson wanted his film The Grand Budapest Hotel to inspire people, I’m not sure he ever could have anticipated that his movie and the hotel at the center of it would become the subject of a LEGO creation.
A magnificent LEGO creation, at that.
LEGO Master Model Builder Ryan Ziegelbauer and his team drafted the design and then sourced the bricks from Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Germany, and the US.
The build took more than 575 hours and the final result is an absolute beauty.
Check out the time lapse video of the build after the break.
