Nice marketing, but c’mon, we’ve all seen kids eat. In reality, that construction zone would look like cleanup after a major earthquake. I bet none of those mixed vegetables would even be touching the plate since they would be busy flying toward the walls, the floor, your head, anyplace but the kid’s mouth. That’s what you get when you encourage kids to play with their food. But I’m sure this is better than giving them one of these. Check out the additional Chew Chew Train after the break.

On a first note, anyone notice the small pieces in the Build-a-Meal plate? Choking hazard anyone?
Secondly, both of these photos are fake! You can tell by the lighting and a few other things.
Picture One: The lighting on the plate is the exact same with food and without food. Magically the food itself does not cast shadows at all. Also the burger is lit from the right, while the plate is lit from behind, even though the kid would be in the way of that light source. Another point, literally, is the corner of the plate seems to touch the kid’s elbow, which is at the edge of the table. This would physically put the body farther back than it is in the picture to allow room for the other corner sticking out from the edge. Also need to look at the fact that the veggies on his fork are not in continuity with the veggies on the plate.
Picture Two: Fries are too bright, and lit from the left, when there’s a red lid in the way. Also the peas and carrots are lit from the top right, the hotdog is lit from above, and the kid is lit directly from the right of the picture. On the “Chew Chew Train” Itself, look at the shadows on the white table, completely fake, air brushed in to have shadows on both sides and each individual part of the train has its own individual lighting source.
forgot to add that the peas in the second picture are also completely out of proportion with the hotdog
