Someone Made A TARDIS Jukebox Out Of Recycled Boxes And It Rocks

About ten months ago, David Prouty’s daughter challenged him to make something, out of recycled boxes, for the Doctor Who 50th anniversary.

His creation? This TARDIS jukebox with flashing lights and smoke effects. It was made out of old Uhaul, FedEx, and pizza boxes.

Yep. This dad made a 1/3 scale TARDIS with disco lights, sound activated LED’s, a smoke machine and an internal Bluetooth speaker. It’s all powered by a wireless remote and he can even connect his iPod or iPhone and turn it into a jukebox.

I’m going to add that David Prouty is a geophysicist, which makes me feel just a bit better about the fact that I can’t create one of these by myself.

Still, recycled pizza boxes? I can’t even make a pizza box out of one of those!

Check out more pictures and the video after the break.
