true story but the game is far to easy i went to about lvl 8-10 on whatever it starts at then when i found i was one shotting everything with a steel warhammer i cranked it up to master then it was atleast fun/challenging for about 20 levels then i was in full deadric armor with dual chants on everything and i had to put the hammer away so as not to kill things so fast infact i ended up going back to a steel hammer so that i could lvl the skill more

I know, I find the traps and bosses ridiculously easy if you avoid getting hit much. Deploy the zig-zag pattern I used in my Halo: Combat Evolved days. Other than that the average mobs are a good difficulty on Master, but ya need mods to up the boss fights to 15minute affairs and the traps to “whoops, better reload and scrape my body off the ceiling.”

Since Level 1 i am playing on Master but after level 30 the game became very easy and now i am at level 63.
we want a difficulty level higher than Master please.

I find adept or above to be a joke unless you’re using maxed archery with a(n) ebony/daedric bow with max smithing improvements, the 3x damage whilst sneaking with bows, and a high level enchantment. It’s simply not possible otherwise, albeit every kid on the block will say it is.

dude i started the game on Master with an .ini edit to remove all quest markers. playing as a pure mage w focus on conjuration. was hard as fuck until lv. 30 or so, now i can at least face an opponent head on instead of every fight being an epic match. Morokei took about 2hrs. i’ve been playing since Morrowind came out- i saw my kid brother 2-hitting dragons on Apprentice and i was like FUCK THAT

My game was Master as the default. Anyone else have that?

Is it cos I’ve got loads of Oblivion saves already?
Anyhoo, I didn’t really notice, because I am a sneaky character, so I’m one shotting everything with smithied bow and dual daggers. (with the x15 sneak bonus)

So that’s what it was. Everyone was saying how awesome the graphics were, but I never saw it. I never thought to try changing the difficulty!
