Downloadable Content for Xbox360 Guitar Hero

After playing GuItar Hero over Easter weekend, I am hooked. Great game and a lot of fun for a crowd. However, I was a bit surprised they didn’t offer the ability to get more songs beyond what it shipped with.
Now Activision has announced that downloads will be offered on Xbox Live Marketplace, with new songs available every month. At 500 points (about $6.25) for a pack of three songs, it is a bit pricey. You can also get theme packs for your favorite guitar hero for 150 points or gamer pics for 100 points. I think the ability to customize some aspects of the game and get new content will take this game to the next level. And I am pretty fond of the level it started at.
