It looks like eBay entrepeneurs will be closing up shop soon given the fact that the new shipment of XBox 360’s is already on its way to stores.
An article in USA Today quotes Microsoft’s spokesperson Molly O’Donnell as saying - “We have a weekly replenishment strategy.” The first follow-up shipment “is on the way, and it should be on retailers’ shelves by the end of the week or for the weekend.”
O’Donnell also addressed the increasing number of reports regarding faulty 360 consoles saying that the rate of complaints is below the 3% to 5% expected with new electronics products. (If you do experience problems with your system call 1-800-4MY-XBOX.)
It has yet to be seen whether or not Microsoft can keep up this strategy throughout the holiday season.
