Details are scarce, but it looks like Samsung is preparing to roll out the SPH-B5200 – a phone that appears to be geared towards the mobile gamer.
According to TechEBlog, the phone will feature a 2.0 inch QVGA display, a MP3 player, and a DMB receiver for digital T.V. reception.
Naturally, everyone and their mother is already comparing this thing to the now defunct N-Gage. While it is true that the N-Gage was unsuccessful in almost every respect, this is mostly due to the fact that it sucked – not because there isn’t a market for this type of device. Perhaps hte SPH-B5200 can succeed where the N-Gage failed.
