Poland is very proud of The Witcher, and rightly so – the series has three bestselling entries across multiple platforms, and has taken the world by storm. Only fitting, then, that Poland would choose to honor it the same way America celebrates its Star Treks and Britain its Doctors Who – commemorative stamps. Specifically, a stamp featuring Geralt of Rivia and branded with The Witcher III: Wild Hunt (and not Wilf Hunt, as I had originally typed, though I’d probably play a game called Wilf Hunt).
The Poctza Polska, Poland’s state-run postal service, issued the stamp this month. It’s a 6-zloty denomination – roughly $1.55. Not in Poland? Don’t worry – eBay sellers are already listing the stamp—at a premium of course.
