The Entire ‘Legend Of Zelda’ Overworld Map Gets 3D Printed

Willard McFarland is now the proud owner of this 3D printed Legend Of Zelda overworld map, and I am officially jealous.

According to Retro Gaming Mag, the map was sold via the Trade Sell Collect Retro Facebook group. McFarland noted that the original creator of the map spent six months laying out the design in Minecraft, then used that data to create a file for a 3D printer. After a solid 24-hours printing (along with six hours of painstaking painting), everything was finally complete. As you can see in the following shots, the level of detail is pretty astounding.
