Norway Offering Secret Mountainside Submarine Base For $17.5 Million

It turns out that Norway is selling its NATO-funded secret submarine hideout, the Olavsvern Naval Base, for $17.5 million.

The above ground, 38,000 square foot property offers houses, office buildings, residential suites, a workshop, a warehouse, and a sub base built into the side of a mountain that houses a dry dock, an emergency power system and fuel cells.

Although it now acts as a supply base, its original purpose was to hide American submarines assigned to the Arctic Ocean during the Cold War.

Check out some additional pics after the break.
