The Aero Soarer at Play Asia is the first indoor RC plane. A helicopter seems a lot better suited as an indoor toy, but if you make an extremely light one out of styrofoam, the very low speed at which it can maintain lift makes the area needed to operate it a lot smaller. As a matter of fact, due to it’s very light weight, it would probably have some real difficulty outdoors with any amount of wind at all. You probably want to keep it away from any ceiling fans you may have as well.
