Looking for that perfect holiday gift can be a particularly daunting task when it comes to picking up the latest gadgets and gizmos. That is why Nerd Approved has compiled a list of the best tech gift guides that the web has to offer.

I will continue to add sites as I find them, but if you come across a particularly interesting list – let us know. Happy Hunting!

PC Magazine: Pretty straightforward list – but the guys at PC Magazine know their stuff.

CNET Top 100: CNET’s top 100 products of the year – extremely comprehensive from one of the most trusted names in the industry.

Engadget: The guide is a “work in progress”, but Engadget always comes up with some unique ideas.

CNET Gift Guide: Again, extremely comprehensive – broken down by type, price, and “uniqueness.”

Gamespot: If you are looking to pick up some games this year – heading on over to Gamespot is a must.

[H]ard OCP: If you are looking for computer hardware upgrade – this is the place.

Gamespy: Excellent source of information – but the guide is not set up as well as Gamespot’s.

Extreme Tech: The Geek Gift Guide is another work in progress – but they have some interesting stuff there, including books.

Wired News: Not a vast selection – but they do offer some unique categories including universal remotes and media streamers.

PC World 100 Best Products: There is bound to be a good gift in there somewhere.

G4’s Filter: The Holiday Hit List always has some unique gifts.
