R/C Bomb For Mini Air Raids

rc_bomb Apparently building radio-controlled model airplanes isn’t just about having a fun hobby; it’s also about bombing shit. This plug-n-play system includes a 1:6 scale, 103 gram bomb that operates using a servo wire connected to a spare channel on your radio. It also splits in half in order to carry virtually any payload you wish and comes complete with an impact protector and a bomb release pod that ensures a positive release every time. Why do I get the feeling these things will be horribly misused?

Why would you feel that this little toy is to be the bane of the world? This toy in various sizes and form has been around for as long as flight has, for full size to models. I gather by your attitude that you have not been to a model airplane show in your life or you would have seen many a re-enactment of some land and air battles fought with full size aircraft. These shows are put on with care and diligence. Nothing shipshod about them. As toy guns and various other toys have been misused in time, this may come to pass as well. But until we get some sick SOB that does, let the modeler enjoy what he has enjoyed for many years, freedom to speculate, have a hobby and enjoy the freedom of choice before we lose that as well in the chant of Security.

I take no offense by you or anything said. I’m just saying you can’t look at everything like it will be used to do evil with it or you’ll end up eating your food with a toothpick if they can’t find away to misuse that also. Everything and I do mean everything from words to objects can and May someday be misused. Many are already. Lets look at the sunny side of life for awhile instead of possible rain. Happy new year.
