The people of the current social media age document everything. That means if you’re in customer service, you have to be more mindful of what you say. You could be a viral faux pas the second you screw up. However, Captain Mike of Netflix doesn’t need to worry. He chatted with a customer about an issue with Parks and Recreation and rolls with Star Trek references – he was helpful and hilarious and geeky. Basically, he’s the best.
I’m not sure how strict Netflix is about their customer service chats, but I hope they commend Captain Mike for creating a fun experience rather than making him fill out a TPS report or something.
