The Doctor has been featured in a few bizarre paintings (like this one), and now’s he a Rembrandt. Some Doctor Who fans at Geekcetera found an oil painter to mimic Rembrandt’s well known-style and had the painter add in a few familiar faces. The actual painting, which is a replica of “The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp,” is over 3 feet tall by 2 feet wide. It features the Tenth and Eleventh Doctors, River Song, Amy Pond, and more. Fantastic.
To commemorate the occasion, they’ve made one hundred 12″ by 15″ prints. It will look wonderful on the wall of your TARDIS.
