Well, it’s soothing if you turn the volume way down.
This “Marble Tsunami” was created by Jelle Bakker. It’s 33-feet long and has has four tipping containers holding more than 11,000 marbles. Bakker is aware that the sound is deafening and plans to equip it with a noise damping housing and glass panels on the front.
It reminded me of the roar of the ocean. I can see where this would be really soothing as white noise if the roar of the marbles could be lessened. It’s definitely hypnotic to watch.
