Filming is underway for the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special, and the Trafalgar Square webcam allowed people to keep an eye on the shoot recently. This is where you should stop reading if you don’t want to be spoiled.
The webcam caught an action sequence so there was a fair amount of the TARDIS dangling from a crane. Matt Smith hung from the TARDIS, and Jenna-Louise Coleman is actually in it. There are more familiar faces including Kate Stewart of UNIT and Ingrid Oliver. From Bleeding Cool:
And down amongst the characters on the ground is Ingrid Oliver, of Watson and Oliver. She’s wearing the fourth Doctor’s scarf and has been seen scanning the eleventh Doctor… with something. Kate Stewart of UNIT is present too, with some of her UNIT back-up, and in one sequence she appeared to be handing The Doctor a sealed letter from Queen Elizabeth the First
They may not be back to that area to film, but it doesn’t hurt to check in on the webcam once in a while just to see!
Check out some images from the set as taken by passersby after the break.
