To celebrate Back To The Future‘s 30th anniversary, the entire trilogy will be re-released in theaters on October 21st 2015, the same date that Marty McFly and Doc Brown traveled to the future in Back to the Future Part II.
Holy crap, I feel old and super excited about getting to see this in the theater. Info on exactly where the movies will be shown has not been released thus far, so make sure to check your local listings.
And to continue with the celebrations on October 21st, all three movies will be released in an anniversary Blu-Ray box set along with Back to the Future: The Complete Animated Series on DVD. Of course it will all be appropriately packaged in a Flux Capacitor case that actually lights up.
If you really can’t wait to see these movies again, AMC is running a marathon of all three films tomorrow, July 19th, starting at 11:00 am.
Check out the trailer and a picture of the Blu-Ray re-release after the break.
