The last few months have been big on nostalgia. We’ve got the return of Star Wars of course, but there’s also Neill Blomkamp’s Alien film, Twin Peaks, the Terminator reboot, and even DuckTales and Inspector Gadget for crissakes.

Now comes word from Variety that Harrison Form is confirmed for a return as Rick Deckard in the Blade Runner sequel. Prisoners director Denis Villeneuve is in negotiations to direct.

The script comes from Hampton Fancher (who co-wrote the original film) and Michael Green with input from Ridley Scott. All we know about the plot thus far is that it will take place several decades after the original film.

Ford recently said that the script was “the best thing that he ever read”, which may or may not mean anything. Regardless, how do you feel about the reality of a Blade Runner sequel?
