The New York Times is reporting that Leonard Nimoy passed away this morning at his Bel-Air home from end-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. He was 83.
Nimoy announced that he had the disease last year (which he attributed to years of smoking in his youth). He was hospitalized earlier this week.
To be honest, I don’t even know what to write. To say that he will be missed is an understatement. We are absolutely devastated.
As Mister Nimoy would say “live long and prosper”.
