bizarre

It’s a bad day when alien replicas end up in the water. Margaret Wells lost the life-size replica of E.T. her daughter sculpted in a robbery in September and it turned up in the water at Old Portsmouth. It was reported as a body in the water, and the police and Coast Guard raced to the scene. They pulled the model replica from the water, but mouth-to-mouth wasn’t necessary. Ms. Wells said:

“I always knew E.T. would come home. There’s only one in the whole of England and he is mine. He has lost a finger and looks a bit roughed up, but he still has a smile on his face.”
