We’ve seen steampunk NERF guns in the past, but modder vansbangerburger’s rifle is among the best. He managed to slap it together using an old NERF gun and variety of spare parts—including pressure gauges, an old fuse holder from high voltage wiring and some K’NEX gears. You’ve probably heard of Burning Man. The event spans across several days in the dry, hot desert and hosts people from all walks of life. There are themed camps, art installations, and all kinds of craziness. It’s getting harder and harder to get tickets though; Burning Man has that in common with San Diego Comic-Con. So if you can’t go, you can at least get some laughs out of this fake, custom Lego kit designed by Simon Pearce and Mary Elise Chavez. It’s an instant “theme camp in a box”.

I never knew I wanted custom Lego minifigs of the characters in Blade Runner until I saw them. Builder Legohaulic has designed minifigs of the good guys, the bad guys, and even a vehicle. Every detail is captured, right down to Pris’ face make-up. If only these were real and available for purchase!

Check out photos of Replicant minifigs and Deckard’s spinner after the break.

The ultimate source of power in Zelda looks beautiful in stained glass. Unlike the prints featured earlier this week, this symbol by Jak’s Art Glass is the real deal. He takes custom work, so if you’re interested hit the link below.

Lego did just obtain the license for The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, but fans are an impatient bunch. One in particular designed ten detailed and awesome sets from The Hobbit. Each set is named after a chapter in the book, and each one makes me squee. There’s a hobbit hole, the barrel escape, Gollum, trolls, and more. We wants them, precious!

I daresay, I dig these more than what I’ve seen so far in the sneak peek photos of the official Lego LOTR sets.

One custom Monopoly board this week wasn’t enough. First there was the Mass Effect version, and now we have one for Skyrim. Alex Bennett has designed a board that goes to Karthwasten and makes the players draw for guild missions.

Talented artist Harrison Krix puts his skills to good use. This time he’s made a replica of the Gravity Gun seen in Half-Life 2. As with his other projects, like this Portal gun replica and Mass Effect M8 Avenger Assault Rifle, the attention to detail is meticulous. The finish has just the right amount of grunge, and of course, it lights up. You can bid on this replica weapon for charity – details here.

Sadly, this beautiful Doctor Who chess set is a one-off custom job by DeviantARTist EldalinSkywalker, so we will have to make due with this official lentiular animated version. If you’re really interested though, I’m sure she would accept a commission.

The “good” and “evil” sides are broken down after the break.
