Ironically, the abandoned firehouse that was taken over by the Ghostbusters is about to be vacated for real thanks to budget cuts. Currently, it operates as an actual firehouse—one that was among the first to respond to the 9/11 attacks.
While it would be a shame to shutter such an iconic firehouse, there’s no denying that this could be a huge opportunity for a nerd with deep pockets. Imagine how much this building would go for given its iconic status and location in a trendy Manhattan neighborhood? It would be off the charts.
I would dress up as a Ghostbuster and slide downstairs to breakfast every morning.

We’ve seen a lot of nerdy Star Wars fun in the snow this year including Jabba the Snowman, a Star Wars trench run, and a crashed AT-AT snow fort, but you can now add Ghostbusters to the list with the Stay Puft Marshmallow Snowman.
Though, word on the street is that it’s actually a Michelin Snowman in disguise.
