Kids chew on things. It’s especially common for babies to gnaw on whatever’s handy when their teeth are coming in. Rather than risking your kid chewing on your actual game controllers, present this cleverly named wooden controller to your offspring. The Ninteetho was made to be chewed upon; it’s made from Canadian maple and finished with a baby safe beeswax polish.

Teething on a wooden toy probably won’t encourage your child to eat bark later in life. Probably.

If you’ve ever wondered how Nintendo thanks its employees for 20 years of faithful service – here’s the answer. This bronze Mario was awarded to Jerry Danson, Senior Manager of Systems and Engineering. His son posted this photo on Reddit and reported that his Dad’s job consists primarily of designing, building, and operating the machines that produce the packaging for all their games. I’m sure it would have been nicer if Mario’s hand had a bonus check in it.

Don’t get caught with a big, clunky joystick in the event of an 8-bit emergency. When it comes to defending your loved ones, only an NES zapper will do.

This product is currently sold out on Etsy (originally $45), but they do take custom orders.

We have seen plenty of stickers and cases in the past that turn your iPhone into a Game Boy, but Lootiful is going a step further by developing a Game Boy polycarbonate snap-on back plate for the iPad 2.

The case isn’t ready for sale just yet, but Lootiful claims that it will be avaiable for pre-order “soon”.

If the current Doctor Who was made into a game for the SNES, this is what it might have looked like. It’s a basic remake of the opening sequence complete with 16-bit graphics and sound.

Check it out in the video after the break.

The following is a surprisingly competent nerd rap about one dude’s love for Nintendo through the years. It’s a rap and a gaming history lesson at the same time.

Fans of Okami and the sequel Okamiden can adopt their very own Chibiterasu in either pillow or plushie form. Though if given the choice I would go for the pillow because its really a pillow/plush hybrid. All you have to do is unhook the base and it folds out into a Chibiterasu pillow for napping.

Both items are pre-orders set to ship in April 2011.
