This would be impressive if it just sat on a base like most Lego creations, but it actually folds open and closed, just like a pop-up book. It’s the Todai-ji temple and it was designed by Japanese Lego builder Talapz who has also made a pop-up version of the Kinkaku-ji temple. You can see them in action in the video, along with a how-to if you’re feeling particularly ambitious.
As you might have heard, Nintendo is releasing a 3D version of the DS sometime this summer. They also claim that it will work without the need for special glasses. Details have been sketchy, but now we know their secret…cardboard!
