While attending a stained glass class, Craftster user and Doctor Who fan Xandrigirly decided to create her very own stained glass TARDIS, stating:

After two panels and a little simple box, we got to pick more complicated/design our own 3D stained glass pieces! I was originally planning on a lantern type thing, but I changed my mind and decided this would be a box to keep my ever growing candy stash! And since I’m a dork, it had to be a TARDIS!

Who says a toy has to have a head in order to be a bobblehead? Well, if that rule exists, the TARDIS is cool enough to break it. The Eleventh Doctor’s spaceship is not only bobbly, but it also includes the signature sound effect. I’d carry it around just for the noise. You can pre-order your time traveling machine; it will arrive in the future (around July 2012). Geronimo!

It’s more of a TARDIS cozy really, and there’s basically no point to it—but I’ll be dammed if I wouldn’t rather charge my phone in one.

Full instructions on how to build one yourself are available on Craftzine.

Flickr user Cindi is a geek girl with a passion for Doctor Who. She’s also lucky enough to have a boyfriend kind enough and skilled enough to make her this awesome TARDIS display for her figures.

SillySparrowness not only has a delightful name, she is the cutest. She’s built a portable TARDIS (and really, all time travel machines should be portable) and made a nicely put together video documenting the build. All of that is awesome, but it gets better. She’s cute and clever. I want to be this lady’s friend.

Who needs clunky combination locks when you can use an app? Zeon Tech has debuted nerdy TARDIS and R2-D2 Smartsafes at the Toy Fair in London that can be unlocked with a smartphone. You just need to download a free app and enter the passcode that you’ve designated. You can’t fit a ton of valuables in them, but then again, I’d feel weird about storing anything expensive in a TARDIS. The models will be out in the UK in June and will retail at £19.99 or around $31.

See a picture of the R2-D2 safe and watch how the safe works in the video after the break.
