Okay, I’m gonna go on record here as a Mom and say this upcoming toy is sure to bring destruction to all the fancy things in your house. But as a fan of The Batman who cannot wait for The Dark Knight Rises to hit theaters, will someone please buy this for me? It’s cool because it has a little hidden compartment but it’s awesome because you can push a button and shoot Batman right out of that compartment and into a lamp or a precious Ming vase. Yeah, the fan in me is so going to win this one.

Australian Chris Malloy has made himself an actual hoverbike that he claims can achieve speeds of 173 mph and altitudes in excess of 10,000 feet. Sounds like every Star Wars fan’s dream right?

Unfortunately, don’t expect to be dodging trees in while blazing through the forest anytime soon. Thus far, it has done little more than hover three feet while tethered to the ground.

However, if and when it ever does become a viable form of transportation, you won’t need a license to pilot it since it would be classified as an ultralight. And the final product could be as affordable as some higher-end motorcycles.

Who knows, maybe you will be crashing into trees and exploding sometime in the near future after all. Check out some more pics of the bike after the break.

Lego is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Mercedes-Benz Unimog (an impossibly gigantic truck generally found in Europe and used for mostly military and construction applications) by offering the largest Tecnnic set ever sold.

The highly detailed model will be 1:12.5 scale and include over 2000 pieces. It will feature a pneumatically operated crane with a gripper arm that rotates a full 360-degrees, as well as a front winch and an optional snow plow.

Look for it to drop in August for around $250.

Die hard Firefly fans with some money to burn now have this Serenity MF-813 Flying Mule replica to lust after. It’s hand-painted and designed using studio-supplied blueprints and AutoCAD models.

The Mule itself measures 14 1/2-inches x 10 3/4-inches x 4 1/2-inches with a base measuring 15 1/2-inches x 10 3/4-inches x 1-inch. However, like the show, this probably won’t last long. The series is limited to 1000 models.

Behold, Benny Ohrman’s  ‘Gatorbike’ rolling Crocodile Dundee death machine. It’s made with the carcass of a real alligator. Amusingly, that is actually a good thing for wildlife fanatics because the bike was commissioned to auction off for a wildlife charity. That’s more than can be said for this thing.

You may be able to light a match on his face, and he may wear flannel in the summer, but deep inside that burly man beats the heart of a caring nurturer that want’s nothing more than to plant a few seeds and watch them grow. If that sounds like someone you know, these vehicle vases will make the perfect gift. Versions include: monster truck, camper, RV and 4×4.
