vortex

We are a big fan of Nerf guns here at Nerd Approved. I have two of them on my office desk right now—and if you have been following us on Google+ you might have seen that I like to shoot zombies with them. At any rate, there’s a new series of Vortex weapons to add to your arsenal, and these versions shoot discs instead of darts.

Four models are now available for pre-order: The Praxis ($24.96—17% off), The Vigilon ($15.88—28% off), The Proton ($17.99) and The Nitron ($49.97—9% off).

Shipping begins on September 1st. You can check out an official demo video on Amazon.

Manually shake a cocktail? What are you, an animal? You don’t need to perform manual labor to get drunk these days my friend, all you need is one of these Vortex mixers. Battery operated, the Vortex whips up a tornado funnel at the push of a button—blending everything from cocktails to protein shakes and chocolate milk.

This rotating animatronic vortex tunnel would be a perfect addition to any big budget haunted house. The display features three 4′ black lights on each side of the 20’ walkway that illuminates the painted artwork that appears throughout the tunnel. A number of variations are also available including an optional transparent bridge floor that can enhance the vortex effect, and a galactic paint scheme that can be viewed wearing 3-D glasses. Not to mention the added laughs that come with watching your friends and family stumble through it (and seeing your pothead buddies become mesmerized by all the trippy colors and shapes).
