It’s a team-up that we’ve all wanted to see on the big screen, and now it’s going to happen. Batman and Superman will be appearing together in the upcoming Warner Brothers 3D film Lego: The Piece of Resistance which is due to hit theaters on February 28, 2014. There’s already a pretty impressive slate of names attached to the project.
Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, directors of 21 Jump Street, and Robot Chicken director Chris McKay will all be at the helm. Voice talent includes Will Arnett as Batman, Chris Pratt as a character called Emmet and possibly Channing Tatum as Superman.

According to Variety:
Pratt will play Emmet, an ordinary, law-abiding, Lego mini-figure who is mistaken for the most extraordinary MasterBuilder. He’s drafted into a fellowship of strangers on a quest to stop an evil tyrant from gluing the universe together.
There really is nothing worse than glued together Lego bricks. Details are still forthcoming with the movie release still over a year away, but this trailer for Lego Batman 2: DC Superheroes might be a good guess as to the look of the finished product.
