These Action Figures Of Famous Scientists Should Be Real

Once in a while an action figure of someone like Albert Einstein will hit the market; I’ve seen them in toy stores here and there and online. We have toys for all possible variants of every superhero, but that’s because people buy them. I’m guessing the number of folks who would be into a series of scientist action figures like the ones in this image wouldn’t be enough to sustain the line.

If we can’t have the real thing, this imagining by Russell Gawthorpe will do. He found images of Star Trek: TNG and DS9 figures and spent between 40 minutes – 2 hours modifying each one in Photoshop to look like heroes of science. He’s included Richard Feynman, Stephen Hawking, Carl Sagan, Marie Curie, and Nikola Tesla among others. Let’s hope someone takes his designs and makes custom figures.
